What is Mediation?

Mediation is a form of alternative dispute resolution. A neutral or impartial person, aka a mediator, facilitates the settlement discussions between the parties. The mediator has no authority to make decisions or impose settlements upon the parties.

An impartial mediator and the confidentiality of each session allows the neutral party to find common ground and address concerns in a different and often very effective way.

If you think mediation could be an option for you, let's talk about it. Kathy is a licensed Rule 31 Mediator for Middle Tennessee and would be happy to help you or your client.
